But whatevs! We happen to think that our content is a delightful mix of nextbigthings, established artists, and punx classics, mixed with mucho pop culture nonsense. While some of the mp3’s posted fall into the indie category, the actual indie connection comes up more in the blog’s overall indie-snob sensibility. WE. HATE. BAD. MUSIC.

Standard little disclaimer: We luvvv musical artists of all kinds. If you like a song posted on this site, go to a concert, buy the cd–that’s right, the whole cd in tangible form–don’t download their stuff illegally.
Essentially, we advocate, in the wise words of Hype Machine, “responsible use of copyrighted material.”
And now a word to said musical artists: if you want something taken down, email the site and it will get taken down!
The same thing goes for photos and videos we post on our blog. We almost never include credits (UPDATE: We now include credits. See the Biblio, Yo page), but we are in no way implying that these are our own original works. If you find your favorite personal, private work-of-a-lifetime in one of our posts, don’t freak out! Just contact us and we’ll either take it off the site or put your name on it. No big deal.
